Centre for Child Mental Health presents: Two -day training with Dr Dan Hughes Developing therapeutic stories with children and teenagers that reduce their shame and fear

Through his model of Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy, Dan will demonstrate how to enable children and teenagers to feel safe enough to tell the story of their traumatic past. He will explore how to help them to then develop a coherent narrative for what happened to them and grieve what needs to be grieved, so they are no longer haunted by fear and shame.
