Consultation Refresher Workshop Part 1 : The Psychological Theory and Practice of Consultation

This workshop invites practising EPs, and those in training, to revisit the core principles, psychological models and practices underpinning Consultation, and develop increased competence and confidence in the skills required to work effectively using Consultation.
The workshop is interactive and collaborative, grounded in theory and practice linked to psychologies that are respectful, inclusive and valuing of individuals, schools and communities, using an eco-systemic model. Group and individual activities are scaffolded using appreciative inquiry and solution focused approaches– to value what is working well for individuals and teams and to build upon and promote the strengths, skills, and resources of individuals and teams.
