School exclusions have exacerbated barriers to inclusion, England has seen a more than 20% school exclusion increase in the past year. The RSA's  latest action research in education summarises three localities across England - East Sussex, Oldham and Worcestershire's - journeys to facilitate greater multiagency collaboration to make local education systems more inclusive in order to reduce preventable exclusions.

The project builds on our (2020) Pinball Kids research, and the Collaborations For Change report. RSA worked with a range of professionals and agencies, to understand the local factors that drive or hinder multiagency working.  In this event, localities will share how they removed barriers to school inclusion, gaining useful, transferable insights for partnership working across the country.
