During this webinar Helen and Jane will talk about how the EP team worked with school communities in the immediate days and weeks following the Grenfell Fire tragedy, and over the one year anniversary period.
The team’s workshops and interventions; “Supporting children following frightening events’, and ‘Supporting children to stay strong’ were underpinned by psychosocial and appreciative inquiry frameworks. The approach was to try to promote resilience by respecting the independence, dignity and coping mechanisms of communities and to work to elicit the stories of courage, kindness and hope to counteract the stories of distress and trauma.
