Following the close of nominations on Thursday 26th June 2025, we are pleased to share an update on the election process for positions on the the Editorial Board for Educational Psychology in Practice journal.

As educational psychologists (EPs), we are often called upon to support children and families experiencing high levels of conflict, control, or withdrawal. In such cases, traditional behavioural strategies may fall short. The Non-Violent Resistance (NVR) parenting approach offers a trauma-informed, relational alternative that prioritises adult presence, emotional regulation, and systemic support. It provides EPs with a thoughtful and ethically grounded framework for supporting families experiencing entrenched difficulties.
